Problem Statement
To build a simple mirror installation; which will interact with whoever comes Infront of it. The interaction also has to be relevant to the movie Äkta skräck; as the XR project took place as a channel to promote their movie.
Key Moments
Simplifying the interaction: where people standing in front of the mirror will only be on fire - as the movie is about burning women thinking they are witches
Using OpenCV for face, hand and body tracking in Touch Designer
Coming up with a solution that requires no app and less costly
The experience went under several tests to set the right amount of fire effect, and where to have those. For example: In the tests it was noted that users like to move their hand to play with the fire in the mirror, so the focal point for the fire effect was set on the hands.
